Shipping policy

ORDER PROCESSING
We strive to process all orders within one business day. Please note that orders with alternate shipping addresses or those requiring additional verification may necessitate extra processing time. We will send a confirmation email once your order has been processed successfully.
ORDER UPDATES
For pre-configured, quickship systems, peripherals and other products, you will receive an order confirmation email, followed by a shipping notification with relevant tracking information upon completion. For custom products, you will receive two additional incremental build status updates via email between your order confirmation and shipping notifications: Building System, and Testing System.
LEAD TIMES
Our goal is to provide the most accurate lead times possible; however, all advertised timeframes reflect our best estimates, and the exact time required to fulfill your order may vary based on demand, seasonality, and other factors.
Please note: Lead times are separate from shipping times and the combination of both times is our best estimate of when you can expect delivery.
Please note: MAINGEAR cannot offer complimentary expedited shipping or discounts of any kind in the unfortunate event of an order delay.
LOCAL PICKUP
Local customers are welcome to collect their orders from our facility at 4 Powder Horn Drive in Warren, NJ. Be sure to select Local Pickup at checkout. Pickup hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM ET. A valid photo ID is required to claim your order.
Please note: all orders picked up from our facility are subject to New Jersey state sales tax, regardless of the customerās state of residence.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING
MAINGEAR utilizes FedEx for the domestic shipping of standard (non-Apex) products. If your order qualifies for free shipping and is being delivered to a residential address, it will be shipped via FedEx Home Delivery, which delivers 7 days a week. For business addresses, orders will automatically be shipped via FedEx Ground to ensure it arrives on a weekday. Express shipping options are available for an additional fee.
Please note: Free shipping is not available for customers outside the contiguous United States.
Orders that include Apex liquid cooling will be shipped via a freight service. The freight carrier may vary depending on the customerās region and availability. These shipments are palletized and scheduled, meaning the carrier will contact you in advance to coordinate the date and time for final delivery. Freight shipments cannot be expedited and delivery can only be scheduled on weekdays.

ADDRESS CHANGES
Once an order is placed, MAINGEAR cannot modify the shipping address to any location other than a FedEx Office. If you need to change your shipping address, please contact MAINGEAR promptly to explore FedEx Office delivery options. If no FedEx Office locations are available in your area, it may be necessary to cancel and replace the order with the newly desired shipping address at checkout.
MISSED DELIVERIES AND RE-ROUTES
If you are unavailable to sign for your delivery, FedEx will typically make another attempt on the following business day. After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the package may be returned to MAINGEAR or held at a local FedEx Office for up to 7 days. If the package is returned to MAINGEAR, the customer will be responsible for the costs associated with reshipping.
Once FedEx has taken receipt of your package, there is generally a limited window during which re-routing to a nearby FedEx Office location may be possible. However, once the package is in transit or out for delivery, re-routing is no longer an option, and delivery attempts will proceed as scheduled.
ALASKA/HAWAII SHIPPING
Orders shipping to Alaska or Hawaii require paid shipping. Methods and pricing will vary based on your order type and location. Options will be presented at checkout once a shipping address is entered.
APO/FPO/AEĀ
MAINGEAR can ship select systems to APO/FPO/AE addresses for a flat rate of $199. Please note that size and weight restrictions apply, so we encourage customers to contact MAINGEAR prior to placing an order to confirm compliance. Systems equipped with Apex liquid cooling cannot be shipped to APO/FPO/AE addresses.
PO BOXES AND FREIGHT FORWARDERS
MAINGEAR is unable to ship to PO boxes or freight forwarding facilities. This includes package handlers such as Fetch. If your order is identified as having one of these shipping addresses, it will be automatically canceled and refunded.Ā
APARTMENTS AND MAILROOMS
If your package is being shipped to an apartment, mailroom, or similar location, such as those at workplaces or universities, please note that a signature will be required upon delivery. Once a signature has been obtained, the delivery is considered complete, and MAINGEAR cannot assume responsibility for any issues that may arise after the signature is provided and before you personally retrieve the package.
For added security, you may prefer to have your package shipped to a nearby FedEx Office location, where it will be securely held for pickup. Should you require assistance with your shipping arrangements, please donāt hesitate to contact MAINGEAR.
DELIVERY SIGNATURE REQUIREMENT
To safeguard your valuable order and ensure a secure delivery process, all systems require an adult signature upon delivery. While we are unable to make exceptions to this policy, alternative options are available if you anticipate difficulty in being available to sign for your delivery. Please contact MAINGEAR right away to explore these options, such as appointment-based deliveries (additional fees apply) or delivery to a nearby FedEx Office location for convenient in-person pickup.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
CANADA
Customers in Canada can place orders directly through MAINGEAR.com. Shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. Be advised that shipping rates do not include duties and taxes, which the customer will be responsible for once the package reaches Customs. Typically, these fees amount to 10-15% of your order total. For an exact rate, we recommend consulting with a Customs broker or a MAINGEAR specialist in advance. If shipping to a business address, please be prepared to provide the carrier with your Canadian Business Number (BN) and any other required business information to facilitate the importation process.
EU
Customers in the EU are encouraged to contact MAINGEAR for shipping information. Specific terms of sale and shipping policies apply to orders shipping to the EU, and written agreement of these terms is required before an order can be shipped out.Ā
OTHER INTERNATIONAL
Consult with a MAINGEAR specialist to determine shipping rates and whether or not we can ship to your region. Note that first time international customers may be required to complete payment via wire transfer.
EXCLUSIONS
MAINGEAR is currently unable to ship to the following countries: Mexico, Russia, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Regions of Crimea, Somalia, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Myanmar, Libya, Venezuela, and Tajikistan. This list is subject to change without notice. Contact MAINGEAR if you have any questions.
